There were 35 members present today and one guest, Angie Oathout. Verle reported a can deposit of $53.40. President Heater announced that Food Pantry donations will be accepted at the meetings for the next two weeks. Marla S. read the board meeting minutes from last week and Bob S. reviewed the new budget that was approved by the board of directors for the upcoming year.

Linda S. reported on Aktion Club events. They had approximately 60 people at their dance last weekend. They have raised around $1,100 dollars so far for the Eliminate Project. She also reported that the Aktion Club will be working at Russell Park this Saturday morning at 8:00am and could use some helpers. The Aktion Club will have a soup supper after their meeting on Monday, November 21st and invited our club members to attend.

Pat Miller had the program today. She invited JS high school sophomore Logan Hoyt to report on his trip to the Kiwanis Key Leader Conference held recently at the Boone YMCA camp. Logan reported that a speaker from Atlanta talked about leadership and team building with the group of 40 student attendees. He thanked our club members for sending him to the conference and said he would recommend it to future students. Thanks Pat and Logan for the good program!
