There were 30 members in attendance today with Les & Mindy visiting from the Aktion Club. Vern reported a can drop deposit of $139. Hollie reminded members that the Aktion Club Halloween Party is this Sunday from 2-4pm at the Elk's Lodge. The annual Kiwanis Breakfast is this Saturday from 6-11am. Setup will be at the Elk's from 3-5pm on Friday afternoon. Sell those tickets!

Bill Monroe had the program today. He invited Kristy McDermott from Aureon to speak to us about their company. They enable organizations to focus on what they do best by equipping and supporting them with a full suite of business solutions, encompassing everything from technology to HR to contact center — all under one roof. Aureon is the new organization formed in March 2016 from seven companies in the Iowa Network Services (INS) family of companies. INS was founded 27 years ago to support independent telephone companies. Today, they employ 750 people. An Aureon Contact Center located in Jefferson employs 50 people. There are also Contact Centers in Manning, Marshalltown, and Newton. Thanks to Bill and Kristy for the interesting program!
