There were 27 members in attendance today with Les Reinhart visiting from the Aktion Club. We were also pleased to have an interclub from Nevada including Division 11 Lt. Governor Jody Melcher. Jody reported that there will be an Eliminate Regional Rally at a location to be determined on March 9th. She also shared that Kiwanis Camp OK for 5/6th grade TAG students will be held at the Boone YMCA Camp on June 2-7th. Pat M. reported on the Teen Maze meeting she attended. Students from Greene County will attend Teen Maze on Apr. 2nd. Our club will be involved in providing 1,000 goodie bags as well as assisting the Ames club with lunch on that day.

Bob Schwarzkopf had the program today. He invited Superintendents Tim Christensen (JS) and Mike Harter (EG) to talk to the club about the upcoming School District Reorganization vote on Feb. 5th. They discussed the following points with members in attendance:

-Students in Greene County will receive the best education possible
-Declining Enrollment
-Opportunity to gain additional state funding
-Property Tax Reduction for three years
