There were 32 members present today. Updates were heard on the Jefferson Telecom open house and the Aktion Club dance. Harry H. reported a can deposit of $89.65

Dick Pound introduced Skeeter Wilber as his program. Skeeter shared information with members about his wife Doreen's extraordinary archery career. In 1972, at the age of forty-one, Doreen became the first modern day Olympic gold medalist in Iowa. She was on the US Olympic archery team for 8 years and competed in 18 tournaments in 7 countries. The Doreen Wilber Memorial Plaza will be dedicated during the 2011 Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson. Thanks to Dick and Skeeter for a very interesting program!
