There were 31 members in attendance today with Brenda Batschelet visiting from the Aktion Club. Bob reported a can drop deposit of $71.00. President Monthei spoke about last week's committee meetings and asked committees to continue working on action plans. The club took a group picture for use in celebrating 100 years of Kiwanis next Wednesday. The program will highlight this historic event including a tasty birthday treat!

Ashley Schwander had the program today. Scott Johnson, Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 534 spoke to us about the organization. The local troop that our club sponsors includes 15 boys and 5 leaders. They meet every Monday in the basement of the Elk's Lodge. They also try to have an outing once a month with the next trip topic being on Winter Survival. He also shared the Scout's Law with us: A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. Thanks to Scott for the informative program and his efforts in leading the local youth!
