There were 32 members in attendance today. President Heater called the meeting to order and shared special occasions. A can deposit report of $81.40 was heard from Dave J. The Teen Maze in Boone on April 10th (Greene County students attending) was discussed. Bob S. talked about opportunities for upcoming interclubs. Spouse's Night on March 3rd was also mentioned with 30 people signed up to attend.

A reported from the Aktion Club meeting on Monday was heard. About 30 Kiwanians including Jody Melcher and Floyd Hutzell were in attendance. The Aktion Club presented Verle Bennett a Walter Zeller Fellowship award (see e-bulletin). It was good to see Verle and his family and a great turnout from club members. It was also mentioned that the Aktion Club will host a mini-conference at Genesis on April 14th.
 
Marla Siruta had the program today. She shared information about her profession as an Agronomist with the club. She has her own company called "Ag Pro Partners Midwest" that specializes in crop trials for corn and soybeans for the EPA and USDA in Iowa and Colorado.  Marla stated that "for every hour of field work there is 15-20 hours of paperwork".  Thanks Marla for a very interesting and informative presentation!!
