There were 32 members in attendance and 3 guests today. Welcome to guests Mike Wahl, Vicky Lautner, and Sue Poulsen. A can deposit report of $115.00 was reported by Mike P. Special occasions and happy dollars were acknowledged. President Heater mentioned the Roland pancake supper on Jan 24th and also asked club members to sign-up for Spouse's Night on the website. Just click on the event title on our website and register for the March 3rd event. Linda reported on the Aktion Club painting project from last weekend and that they will meet next Monday, Jan. 23rd

Hollie Roberts had the program today. She introduced Sally White from Churdan. Sally is a retired secretary (40 years) for the PC school district. She shared some entertaining stories about her retirement, having both knees replaced, and how these events lead her to a new hobby of bird watching. She has become an avid bird feeder & watcher as well as photographer. She also showed a short video that she produced on a bird banding project at her farm. She recently published a book entitled, "Sally's Backyard Birds" which will be on sale in Jefferson soon but you can purchase it online by visiting her website. Thanks to Hollie and Sally for a very interesting and entertaining program!
