Hal Brownlee, our President, held a Zoom meeting this week, thanks to everyone who participated.
Rotary is encouraging all members to consider making a donation to Polio Plus. The District suggest that each member contributed $20.20. Anyone wishing to make a donation can either send an E-Transfer for the amount to martinjcoward@gmail.com or send a cheque to me at 232 Marlton Crescent, Winnipeg, MB R3R 1A4. A big thank you to those members who have already contributed.
Some good news, MUNA will go ahead in 2021, it will be virtual and will be held April 29 -20, 2021.
October 24th was Polio Day, we are still collecting for Polio Plus if there are still members who would like to donate.
The Interact Rotary Club at the U of M is putting together a fundraiser that would
benefit The Oak Table. They will be selling candy bags for $15. each and will deliver them to an address. A separate E-Mail was sent out on MondaAy October 26th with all the details on how to order and pay for these candy bags.. If you can help out the Rotaract club of U of M it will appreciated.
District Conference is scheduled for Melford May 13-16 2021.
The November 11th program that we have at Rotary Villa will be cancelled for 2020. Shelley is looking into what we could do for them, so they would know that they were stilled remembered.
