The City of Winnipeg moved to code orange on the COVID 19 scale effective September 28th. Until code orange is removed will revert to our weekly Zoom meetings, this will be at least for the next four weeks.

 

Rotary is encouraging all members to consider making a donation to Polio Plus. The District suggest that each member contributed $20.20. Anyone wishing to make a donation can either send an E-Transfer for the amount at martinjcoward@gmail.com or send a cheque to me at 232 Marlton Crescent, Winnipeg, MB R3R 1A4. A big thank you to those members who have already contributed.

 

There will not be a zoom meeting on October 12, 2020 because of the Thanksgiving weekend.

 

District Conference is scheduled for Melford May 13-16 2021.

 

Next Board Meeting will be Monday October 19^th via Zoom at 11 AM.

 

It was suggested that we should cancel the November 11^th program that we have at Rotary Villa for 2020. Board will consider this at their next meeting.

 

It was suggested that we establish a phone tree so that someone can contact the Rotary members that we haven’t heard from in a while to ensure that they are doing OK. Board will consider this when at their meeting on the 19^th.

The weekly accumulator draw, will be suspended until we resume in-person meetings.
