Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended
Our first meeting at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB was great, David and his staff was very accommodating. At our meeting it was decided that we would continue at Rotary Villa until the end of the year. In December we will re-evaluate with David and our members to see if we can continue with our meetings at Rotary Villa.
Our Half Marathon and 5 KM Fun Run was on Sunday September 17, 2023. A big thank you to everyone volunteered. Because of the fantastic volunteers that we had, our Half Marathon and 5 KM run was a huge success. We had over 200 runners this Year!
We will know how well we did with the Half Marathon and 5 KM run by the end of October. It will take until then for us to receive our revenue and invoices for expenses related to the Half Marathon and 5 KM run.
It was decided that we would have our Remembrance Day Service on Saturday November 11, 2023 at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street Winnipeg, MB.
This is the last year for the group of five for Paul Harris. Don Johanson will receive Paul Harris this year.
Our next Board meeting will be on Monday October 16th at Rotary Villa at 11:00 AM.
Ron mentioned that Manitoba Housing personnel visited Rotary Villa last week. They were very please at how well the place is managed and presented.
