Announcements
  • The Board approved a $200 donation to The Winnipeg Foundation in memory of Graham Lount, the first President of the Rotary Club of Fort Garry.
  • Jeff Miller thanked Nazir for years as Chairman of the Foundation. We are looking for someone to take over as Chairman of the Foundation. Jeff and Shelley has taken the online training so we can still apply for various grants.
  • Interac Club at Fort Richmond school
  • Rotary District 5550 is looking for nominations for Governor for 2018 – 2019. If anyone is interested please contact Steve Gallagher for details.
  • If anyone has any ideas what they would like to see for a Christmas party this year. Please e-mail Shelley Killeen your idea.
  • If anyone knows of someone who could speak at our club, please pass this information on to Shelley Killeen,

  Up Coming Events
Speaker next week will be Bob Durston, District Foundation Chair. Bob will be coming in from Neepawa. November was Foundation month so he will talk to us about foundation month.
 
Starting in October we will have one meeting a month in the morning instead of at Noon. Our First morning meeting will be October 24, 2016 at 7:15 AM. These morning meetings will all be held on Monday mornings at 7:15 AM in the room at the back of the restaurant at the Holiday Inn South. Morning meeting for November will be November 21st and for December, December 19th.
