Announcements
  • Effective November 30, 2015 the board has decided to raise the lunch price to $20.00. The $20.00 will also include three raffle tickets. The board made this decision because for the last couple of years we have been running a deficit with our lunch. Also the club covers lunch for the Exec. Secretary and the speakers that we have.
  • Our Christmas party will be at Rotary Villa on December 14th. More details will follow, when they are available.
  • Jeff will contact Fort Richmond School to get a student for us to send to Rotary Adventure in Citizenship again this year.
  • Nina Lamb, the student that we sent to Rotary Adventure in Citizenship, will look into getting a Rotary Interact Club going at the Fort Richmond School.
  • We will still have our regular meeting at the Holiday Inn on December 14, 2015.
  • We received a Holiday Message from R.I. District 5550 and information about Howard Tours trip to India February 12- 23, 2016. This trip is part of the Rotary program to End Polio Now. Details regarding these two items have been sent as attachments to a separate e-mail.
  • District 5550 is offering Rotary Leadership Institute training throughout the fall months. You have received a separate e-mail on all the details as to when, where and how you would register for these Leadership training sessions.

A presentation was made to Swagelok – Martin Desilets by the Half Marathon Committee on behalf of the Rotary Club of Fort Garry. Swagelok is a Platinum donor and has donated $15,000 a year for the past three years.
