Announcements
  • Ted Foreman advised us that Graham Lount, the first President of the Rotary Club of Fort Garry, passed away. In Lieu of flowers the family suggested a donation to The Winnipeg Foundation. It was suggested by Ted and supported by the members in attendance that we donate $200. This will be put to the board for approval.
  • We received an e-mail from Major Apollo Edmilao, our speaker on November 11th, thanking us for asking him to be our speaker on Nov 11th.He said it was extremely gratifying to talk about what remembrance day means to him and about his experience in the Service. The highlight of the day for him was getting a chance to meet the residents of Rotary Villa, especially the WWII veterans.

  • Rotary District 5550 is looking for nominations for Governor for 2018 – 2019. If anyone is interested please contact Steve Gallagher for details.
  • If anyone has any ideas what they would like to see for a Christmas party this year. Please e-mail Shelley Killeen your idea.

  Up Coming Events
 
Starting in October we will have one meeting a month in the morning instead of at Noon. Our First morning meeting will be October 24, 2016 at 7:15 AM. These morning meetings will all be held on Monday mornings at 7:15 AM in the room at the back of the restaurant at the Holiday Inn South. Morning meeting for November will be November 21st and for December, December 19th.
