We were pleased to welcome Aimee Rice from Victoria Hospital Foundation and Aven
Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
Our Meetings on June 10th and June 24th will be at the Caboto Centre 1055 Wilkes Avenue. We will be meeting in Cafe 13, which is to your right once you come in through the main doors. After our couple of June meetings we will have to decide if we will continue at the Caboto Centre or go back to Rotary Villa.
For lunch meetings at the Caboto Centre the cost will go back up to $25.00
Rotary International Convention 2025 will be held in Calgary June 21 - 25, 2025. This is a great change for Rotarians to attend an International Conference that is being held so close to Winnipeg. We will send you more information as it becomes available
Our Half Marathon and 5 KM fun run will be held on Sunday September 22, 2024. Registration is now open.
For several weeks now Aven Fengwen has been attending our meetings. She has decided that she would like to become a member, The required forms will be sent to her this week to be completed.
We are planning a Marathon meeting on June 13th at Thomas Design.
Aimee Rice from Victoria Hospital Foundation was at our meeting today and thanked us for our donation of $3,500 for a project that they are doing at Access Fort Garry.
Ed Baetz is collecting Tabs from cans, these are being donated to Shiners who in turn buys wheelchairs form the tabs. Each Wheelchair requires a lot of tabs, so if you can keep your can tabs and bring them to one of our meetings Ed would be appreciate it.
