Fort Richmond Collegiate will be having Career Symposium on April 24th.
Effective immediately, before we enter Rotary Villa we must sign-in and sign-out when you leave. This is so they will know who is in the building in case of an emergency.
Marathon Site is up and running for our 2025 Marathon and we already have runners registering for our Half Marathon. Half Marathon will be held on September 21, 2025.
The Presidents meeting from last week is putting together a plan for the Winnipeg Rotary Clubs to support Westminster Housing project. In the meantime they would like for each Winnipeg club to commit $500 to help with regular maintenance. Our club has not yet committed ti this amount.
Charleswood Rotary is 40 years old. They will be celebrating on April 28th at Breezy Bend. More information to follow, when received,
For those Rotarians who are attending the Rotary anniversary at Government House, please note the dress code is Business Causal.
Ron Miller has arranged for QR codes for our club that will connect directly with the Half Marathon and Rotary Club of Fort Garry websites. The plan is to use these QR codes instead of handing out pamphlets.
Rotary International Convention 2025 will be held in Calgary June 21 - 25, 2025. This is a great chance for Rotarians to attend an International Conference that is being held so close to Winnipeg. This conference will also be open via Zoom on May 9th - Noon to 3:45 and on May 10th from 9Am - 4:30PM.. Maybe we could get together has a group and participate in the Zoom conference.
Our next board meeting will be Monday April 28, 2025 at Rotary Villa.

Ted McIntosh will be our Sergeant-at-Arms for the rest out our current Rotary year.
The weekly accumulator draw was for $13.00, Kingsley Okiyi drew the Ten of Spades. The lucky card is the King of Spades.

Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
