Ron Miller, president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
Our membership for District 5550 is just over 1100. To maintain our district status we need to have a minimum of 1200 members. We have until the end of July to get our membership up to 1200.
July and August we will be concentrating on our Half Marathon and 5KM Fun Run. We will not be having a formal Board Meeting during July and August. Anything that needs to be dealt with will be done at our regular meeting
Half Marathon and 5 KM run is moving along as scheduled. As of June 8/26 we have 106 runners registered. Which is in line with last year. Ron and Jeff is starting to get sponsors for this year. Volunteers fore the Half Marathon is being worked on. Construction will be going on over the summer on parts of our Half Marathon route, this is being watch closing by Jeff. Should not be an issue at Race time.
Sioux Lookout Rotary is hosting the Canadian Wilderness Camp July 8 - 12. This camp is for people that are 18+. If you know of anyone who would like to attend please let us know.
Our Half Marathon and 5 KM fun Run is on September 27th. September 26th, Saturday, will be setup day and volunteers will be required to help with the setup.
A reminder to all Rotarians - the Rotary Learning Centre is an excellent source of information about Rotary.
Our next board meeting will be Monday June 22, 2026 at Rotary Villa.

Ted McIntosh will be our Sergeant-at-Arms for the rest out our current Rotary year.

Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
