Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
Marathon season is in full swing. Registered runners are up over previous years. looks like we should have a banner year.
We would like to see a good turn out for our meeting on July 7th , the plan is to spend most of the meeting finalizing everything to do with the Half Marathon and 5 KM fun run
Our next board meeting will be Monday July 21, 2025 at Rotary Villa.
Sergeant-at-Arms:
Ted McIntosh will be our Sergeant-at-Arms for the rest out our current Rotary year.
The weekly accumulator draw was for $18.00, Ted McIntosh drew the Ace of Clubs. The lucky card is the King of Spades.
Speaker: Christina, the young lady that we sent to Adventures in Citizenship in Ottawa, came and spoke at our meeting. She was very excited to tell us about her trip. They got to visit several museums in Ottawa, go to Parliament and to be at an event where several people became Canadians. The host Rotary Club also had several fun events for them to participate in. She really enjoyed meeting young people from across Canada and to get their thoughts on things that affect their part of the country.
She was very grateful that she was selected to go to Ottawa and extended her big Thank You to our club.

Upcoming Events:
Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
Rotary meeting dates until end of 2025 will be as follows:
