Ron Miller, president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
Our membership for District 5550 is just over 1100. To maintain our district status we need to have a minimum of 1200 members. We have until the end of July to get our membership up to 1200.
At our July 6th meeting the person that we sent to Ottawa, Gloria Oxsndmolr, will do a presentation about her experiences at adventures in citizenship while she was in Ottawa.Please try to attend and bring a guest if you would like to.
July and August we will be concentrating on our Half Marathon and 5KM Fun Run. We will not be having a formal Board Meeting during July and August. Anything that needs to be dealt with will be done at our regular meeting
Volunteers for the Half Marathon is being worked on by Shelley with support from Kathy. Construction will be going on over the summer on parts of our Half Marathon route, this is being watch closing by Jeff. Should not be an issue at Race time.
We will be hosting the Walsh Society Lunch/Dinner in January or February. More information will be made available as we receive it.
Our Half Marathon and 5 KM fun Run is on September 27th. September 26th, Saturday, will be setup day and volunteers will be required to help with the setup.
Sergeant-at-Arms:
Ted McIntosh will be our Sergeant-at-Arms for the rest out our current Rotary year.

Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
