Jarrett Davidson opened the meeting with the singing of O Canada and Rotary Grace.
A general welcome was given to include all of our nineteen guest.
Announcements:
- Next week’s meeting has been moved to the private room at the back of the restaurant
- At the last Board Meeting it was passed that we would give $15,000 to the Knowles centre. Some of this money will go towards training a young man how to run a kitchen. Some monies would also go towards Kitchen improvements.
- Because we wanted to give our guest Lloyd Robertson as much time as possible we did not have Sergeant-at-Arms, did not do Happy or Sad Bucks.
- Jeff Miller will be attending Fort Richmond Collegiate Grad on Thursday June 25th and we will be awarding two graduates scholarships of $1,000 each.
- Goodwill weekend Sept. 17 – 19 at Norwood Hotel
- District 5550 Rotary Alumi Reunion will take place August 28 – 30 2015 in Winnipeg at Norwood Hotel and the Forks (Ribfest.). Tentative registration fee is $95 per person
- No meeting on June 29th. Instead we will have our Summer kick off BBQ at Rotary Villa, 828 Hudson Street, at 5 PM.
- We will need volunteers to work our booth at the race kit pick up for the Manitoba Marathon, June 19th and 20th. 2 – 4 hour shifts at University of MB. Please contact Steve Gallagher directly at stevegallagher@remax.net

We did not do the weekly accumulator draw this week so it remains at $147.00.
We did do a collection and received $176.00 which will be donated to Canadian Mental Health Assoc. on behalf of Lloyd Robertson.
Guest Speaker, Lloyd Robertson, was introduced by Ted Foreman. Lloyd gave about a 30 minute talk recalling his early days when he worked for CBC TV in Winnipeg. He also spoke about some of the great people that he knew during his career. All Rotarians received a copy of his book (courtesy Ted Foreman), Lloyd referred to this book often during his presentation. He also did a 10 Minute question and answer session.
