Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
Marathon season is in full swing. As off July 6th we have 258 runners registered, we expect this to be a banner year. More runners means that we will require more volunteers to help with the Half Marathon and 5KM Fun Run. Shelley Killeen is heading up the volunteers again this year. If you can help please contact her directly.
Our meeting on Monday dealt mostly with our Half Marathon and 5Km Fun Run. Ron, Shelley, Steve and Jeff are busy making sure everything is in place for the Half Marathon. Plans are progressing on schedule. A huge a mount of work is required, before run day, to put on the Half Marathon. If any one like to help please contact Ron, Steve, Shelley or Jeff and I'm sure they would appreciate any help that you can give.
Sponsors for are Half Marathon and 5KM Fun Run are always required. If you know of anyone who could sponsor our Half Marathon, please let Ron or Jeff know.
Our next board meeting will be Monday July 21, 2025 at Rotary Villa.
Sergeant-at-Arms:
Ted McIntosh will be our Sergeant-at-Arms for the rest out our current Rotary year.
The weekly accumulator draw was for $25.00, Owoola Bello drew the King of Spades and won the jackpot.

Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
