Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
Our membership for District 5550 is just over 1100. To maintain our district status we need to have a minimum of 1200 members. We have until the end of July to get our membership up to 1200. Therefore increasing our membership will be one of our main objectives for 2026.
A discussion was held on how we can improve our membership. Nothing was decided but this will be a continuous topic for 2026.
Rotary Leadership Meeting will be held in Russell March 27 -28th. Our club is looking for a member to attend. If you are interested please contact Ron Miller Directly.
The Job Forum at Fort Richmond School will be held on April 15, 2026
Our District Conference will be held in Neepawa May 8 -9th 2026. Our District Governor has extended an invitation for everyone to attend. Information for registration, speakers, events etc. is suppose to be available on line by January 5, 2026.
We have booked St. Vital Park for our Half Marathon and 5 KM fun Run for September 20th. September 19th, Saturday, will be setup day and volunteers will be required to help with the setup.
A reminder to all Rotarians - the Rotary Learning Centre is an excellent source of information about Rotary.
Our next board meeting will be Monday January 19, 2026 at Rotary Villa.
Sergeant-at-Arms:
Ted McIntosh will be our Sergeant-at-Arms for the rest out our current Rotary year.
The weekly accumulator draw was for $73.00, Ron Miller drew the King of of Spades and won the 50/50 draw.

Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
Rotary meeting dates for the next few months will be as follows:
Meeting Dates in January - 5th & 19th. Jan 19th will also be a board meeting.
Meeting Dates in February - 2nd & 23rd. Feb. 23rd will also be a board meeting.
Meeting Dates in March - 9th & 23rd - March 23rd will also be a board meeting.
Meeting Dates in April - 13th & 27th. April 27th will also be a board meetings.
Meeting Dates in May - 11th & 25th. May 25th will also be a board meeting.
