Announcements
It was decided that our Half Marathon and 5KM run will be held on September 18, 2016. The group felt that our Marathon went off well last year. This year we would like to get the promotional side down a little better, we are going to look at hiring someone to help with the Social Media Side. Pat O’Connor will do a job description, Ron Miller has asked for help with the getting sponsors for 2016. We need to get a new platinum sponsor for our 2016 Half Marathon. Several ideas were talked about and call will be made to the people who were identified
We have two students selected to go to Ottawa for Adventures in Citizenship. We are waiting for final approval of our application.
Rotary career symposium will be held at the Winnipeg Convention Centre May 12th to 14th.
R.I Convention will be held in Seoul Korea May 28th to June 1st
We received a Holiday Message from R.I. District 5550 and information about Howard Tours trip to India February 12- 23, 2016. This trip is part of the Rotary program to End Polio Now. Details regarding these two items have been sent as attachments to a separate e-mail.
District 5550 is offering Rotary Leadership Institute training throughout the fall months. You have received a separate e-mail on all the details as to when, where and how you would register for these Leadership training sessions.
