  Our president, Steve Gallagher, opened our meeting with the singing of O’Canada and Rotary Grace.  We were pleased to welcome Don Johanson, Joyce Hood and Jan Lightly

           The weekly accumulator draw this week was for $209.00. Kathy Cano drew the King of Clubs. This jackpot will be won at our next meeting on February 26^th because we only have one card left, the Queen of Spades.                                                                                                                                                               

 Guest Speaker: Hal Brownlee introduced our Guest Speaker, Karen Wiebe. Karen is the Executive Director of TJ’S Gift Foundation. Karen and her family started this foundation after their son was brutally murdered on January 5, 2003. After going through this tragedy they wanted something good to come from TJ’S death. Their foundation is dedicated to helping kids make safe choices to avid drug use. The hold a Gala each year in May, the weekend before the long weekend before the long weekend, which is their main fundraiser.
