We were pleased to welcome
Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
We will be having a Christmas Party for Rotary Villa on Wednesday December 18th at 4:30 PM, everyone is welcome. If you would like help with the set up etc come a few minutes early.
Our next Rotary meeting will be Monday December 16, 2024. Members are encouraged to bring a guests. This will be our last meeting in 2024.
Our Rotaract club is running a campaign again this year to support Food Bank. The class that makes the most donations will be rewarded with a Pizza Lunch. Our Rotary Club will supply the funds for this lunch.
We would like to designate someone let our members into Rotary Villa ever week. The plan is to get this going in January 2025. Currently Ted McIntosh has been doing this each week.
Also starting in January we want to get back to having a speaker every other Meeting. The thinking right now is that we would start off with Craft talks.
I will provide the 2025 dates for our Rotary meetings after our meeting on Monday December 16, 2024.
Rotary International Convention 2025 will be held in Calgary June 21 - 25, 2025. This is a great chance for Rotarians to attend an International Conference that is being held so close to Winnipeg. If you book before the end of the year you will receive a 20% discount.
Our next board meeting will be Monday December 16, 2024 at Rotary Villa, in Stephen's office at 11 A. M.

Upcoming Events:
Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
