We were pleased to welcome Amiee Rice from Victoria Hospital Foundation
Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended
Our club had approved $300 for a Ghana water project that is being driven by our Rotary Club in Montreal. After we found out that they we really requesting $315 US. or approximately $440 Canadian. A motion was made by Don Johanson that we approve the higher amount. Seconded by Don Fletcher. Carried.
At today's meeting Jeff Miller received another pin for Paul Harris.
We had approved up to $250 for a Pizza Party for the interact club at Fort Richmond Collegiate. Today we issued them a cheque for $150.
Fort Richmond Collegiate is looking into the possibility of having a Career Symposium In April 2024. Our Interact Club would be involved.
In the New Year, we will need to decide if we will continue to have our meeting at Rotary Villa or move somewhere else. Please give this some thought over the Christmas break because we would like input from all of our members.
