On September 11th, our next meeting we will be at a new location that is yet to be determined. Everyone will be advised of the location of our meeting before September 11th.
Half Marathon group headed by Ron Miller have been busy finding sponsors for our Half Marathon. They have been having some success and to date they are closing in on $40,000.
Our Half Marathon and 5 Km run is on September 17th. We still have some volunteers opportunities available. More people are needed to help with the setup on Saturday September 16th from Noon to around four. We can always use more people on Sunday. If you can help on either or both days and you have not contacted anyone yet, please let Ron or myself know.

The weekly accumulator was held and we drew the Ace of Hearts. The draw was for $14.00
Speaker: Our speaker on August 28, 2023 was Cameron Diggon. He had a long Military career. After the Military he worked for the oil and gas industry in Alberta. He has also served in a senior leadership positions with a wide variety of Canadian Charities. He is currently the Vice-president and Director of Fund Development with Homes for Heroes Foundation.
Homes for Heroes Foundation are helping to develop Tiny Homes areas across Canada for Canada's veterans. Their goal is to end homelessness for Canadian veterans.
