Today it was decided to say Rotary Grace and go straight to lunch and fellowship.

- No Rotary meeting on September 4, 2017 because of the Labour Day long weekend.
- Effective September 11, 2017 our lunch meeting will be moved to the room at the back of the restaurant and our lunch will be the buffet that they serve in the restaurant.
- Our Half Marathon and 5 KM race will take place on Sunday September 17, 2017.
- Thursday September 14, 2017 at 6:30 PM will be train the volunteer night. Volunteers will also be able to pick up their T-Shirts.

The weekly accumulator draw this week was for $20.00. Shelly Killeen drew the Jack of Hearts. Guest Speaker: No speaker. We did have the Chef drop by and talk with us for a few minutes. He has been serving us meals for the past 14 years. Since Monday was the last meal that we were having in the meeting room, they cooked a special lunch for us, which was enjoyed by all. He spoke about his love for cooking and how this passion started when he was very young living on the farm. He said he enjoys his job now as much as he did when he started his career.
