Announcements.
- No Rotary meeting on September 4, 2017 because of the Labour Day long weekend.
- Effective with our first meeting in September, our lunch meeting will be moved to the room at the back of the restaurant and our lunch will be the buffet that they serve in the restaurant.
- Rotary Club of Winnipeg will be having the Ribfest on August 25, 26, 27. Free Admission, Kid’s Zone, 50/50 Draw, Food Trucks and much more. The Ribfest will take place at the Festival Stage at the Forks. Friday Noon to 10 PM, Saturday 11 AM to 10 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 7 PM. Funds Raised will go to local youth projects.
- Our Half Marathon and 5 KM race will take place on Sunday September 17, 2017.
- Thursday September 14, 2017 at 6:30 PM will be train the volunteer night. Volunteers will also be able to pick up their T-Shirts.

The weekly accumulator draw this week was for $12.00. Ted Foreman drew the Ten of Spades. Last week the draw was for $136.00 and Jeff Miller drew the Queen of Spades and won the raffle. Guest Speaker: No speaker.

We have invited the Chef to come and have lunch with us on Monday, August 28th, he has been preparing lunches for us in our current location for over twenty years.
