Ron Miller, president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
July and August we will be concentrating on our Half Marathon and 5KM Fun Run. We will not be having a formal Board Meeting during July and August. Anything that needs to be dealt with will be done at our regular meeting
Volunteers for the Half Marathon is being worked on by Shelley with support from Kathy. Construction will be going on over the summer on parts of our Half Marathon route, this is being watch closing by Jeff. Should not be an issue at Race time.
On August 9th we have 562 runners registered Half Marathon. At this rate we think that we will surpass 700 registered runners for our 2026 Half Marathon.
Mair Livingstone, President, Of the Walsh Society, advises that their Board has approved of Rotary Villa for their Annual Meeting. This will take place on on February 27, 2027. Rotary Club of Fort Garry will also be in attendance. More information will be available when we get closer to he date.
Please note that the date for our first meeting in September will be the 14th. This change was made because Sept. 7th is labour day weekend. All other dates will remain the same. This means that we will have meetings in September on the 14th and 21st
Don Fletcher has advised that he and his wife will be moving to Calgary in October so they can be closer to their sons' family, especially their Grand kids. They plan on keeping their cottage so they can still enjoy the beautiful summers that we have in Manitoba.
Our Half Marathon and 5 KM fun Run is on September 27th. September 26th, Saturday, will be setup day and volunteers will be required to help with the setup.
Sergeant-at-Arms:
Ted McIntosh will be our Sergeant-at-Arms for the rest out our current Rotary year.
The weekly accumulator draw was for $61.00, Ed Baetz drew the Queen of Diamonds.
Happy/Sad Bucks: Brooke contributed $5.00 to Happy Bucks

Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hn Stret, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
