The weekly accumulator draw was worth $176.00. Lloyel Hull drew the Jack of Diamonds.
President Jarrett gave his Presidential farewell speech. Jarrett said that the year flew by, especially because he had such a great time. He thanked members for helping him out, he learned a great deal about Rotary and made a lot of new friends.
The Half Marathon was a catalyst for reviving the Club. It raised awareness about Rotary, raised $4,500.00 that was used for funding many great projects such as support to Bairdmore School's Green Project, Rotary Villa and sending two groups of students to MUNA. An Interact Club was a direct result of student volunteers at the Half Marathon who helped to form and setup the Interact Club.
Jarrett was happy to support area school breakfast programs with a donation in lieu of speaker gifts. We were also able to support the Wigs on Women Program at the Victoria General Hospital. Jarrett would like to see the Club grow with new, young, vibrant members.
Jarrett passed his President's Pin to in-coming President Lloyel Hull, and Lloyel pinned Jarrett with his Past-President's Pin.
