Next Meeting: Monday January 20, 2025 at 12:15 PM
Guest Speaker:
We were pleased to welcome
Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.

Our next Rotary meeting will be Monday January 20, 2025. We would like for this meeting to be a membership meeting. Therefore, we invite all members to bring a guest. We are hoping to get some new members from this meeting.

We would like to designate someone let our members into Rotary Villa ever week. The plan is to get this going in January 2025. Currently Ted McIntosh has been doing this each week.

Also starting in January we want to get back to having a speaker every other Meeting. We would have a speaker one week and a craft talk the following week. We would like the first meeting in the month to be a speaker and the last meeting in the month to be a craft talk.

We also want to bring back the sergeant-at-arms. It would be great if someone would commit to the sergeant-at-arms for a year. Their duties would be Handling our weekly 50/50 draw, Announcing the birthdays and anniversaries for the month, Happy/Sad Bucks and Fines.

Effective immediately, before we enter Rotary Villa we must sign-in and sign-out when you leave. This is so they will know who is in the building in case of an emergency.

Rotary International Convention 2025 will be held in Calgary June 21 - 25, 2025. This is a great chance for Rotarians to attend an International Conference that is being held so close to Winnipeg. If you book before the end of the year you will receive a 20% discount.

Our next board meeting will be Monday February 24, 2025 at Rotary Villa.

Happy Bucks:

The weekly accumulator draw was for $19.00, Ron Miller drew the Queen of Spades. The lucky card is the King of Spades.
