- President Bob Antymniuk was very happy to make note of a win by the Roughriders on the weekend. He felt that Winnipeg should not be overly sure of a home hosting position for the West semifinal game on Nov. 12th.
- Jim Forestell gave a big thank you to Leslie and Derek for their hosting duties as part of the ‘Guess who’s coming to dinner’ event. They hosted Jim and Lorraine, Bob and Joanne Eilers, Mandy Kwasnika
- Magnus was happy to have been hosted by Ed and Elaine Thompson for the dinner event. Also present were Maureen Johnson, Peter Tonge and Nancy Hansen, Lyle and Norine Miller. A special thanks to Jack Wilson for organizing the dinner event.
- Gord Zacharias thanked Paul and Catherine for their hosting duties for the dinner. Additional guests at their house were Ken and Debbie Buckingham, Gertrude Hambira, Chippo and Allen Luvalie.
- Nancy Morris gave thanks to Martin Labossiere and Erin for hosting their group for an excellent evening. Additional guests included Dave Morris, Lloyd Talbot, John and Audry Inglis.
- Nancy Morris also had a sad buck for the heavy rainfall in the Ottawa area that managed to flow into her daughter’s basement on the weekend.
- Brian Campbell is happy that his wife Janet’s mother, Penny, is still considering moving to Winnipeg.
- Glenda Werbowski was wanting to make sure that everyone new that she was overjoyed with recently becoming a great-grandmother.
