Ripple Effect Program - Guatemala

Ripple Effect is a Rotary District 5550 program through which Rotarians and other organizations and individuals in Canada can reach out to countries where children’s education is at risk. The program works in partnership with Rotary Clubs and communities in Guatemala to help build, equip and support schools for children in grades K to 6. Your donation to the Ripple Effect Program will help build and/or equip a school in Guatemala.

Ripple Effect Scholarship Fund

The Ripple Effect Scholarship Fund supports the award of scholarships for students attending school in the community of Santo Domingo Xenacoj, Guatemala. The primary objective is to increase the number of students who progress beyond grade 6 to middle school (grades 7-9) and high school (grades 10-12).

Rotary Club of Winnipeg, Charleswood - Support of the Ripple Effect

Our club's foundation, at the direction of our club, submits money each year to support The Ripple Effect. The funds are sent to District 5550 World Community Service and to Rotary International. Funds are converted to US dollars to be used for project work in Guatemala. The club's donation is filed with CRA each year as part of the Foundation's financial/ project activity and is posted to the CRA Charities website. Individual Rotarians and members of the public may donate directly to The Ripple Effect. For more information, visit the Ripple Effect website.
