Happy Bucks

Nancy Morris – happy to see a newspaper article about a recent visitor and speaker to our club. She circulated a copy.

Chuck Crocker – happy to have a son visit, with 4 bags of laundry!

Lloyd Talbot– his son and family from Ottawa will be visiting. They are on their way to Regina and Ft. Qu’Appelle, to explore family roots in the region.

Jack Wilson – survived and enjoyed visiting grandchildren. They had an adventure with a sinking boat that was saved with furious bailing.

Mandy Kwasnica – the kids enjoyed camp (swimming every day). While they were gone Mandy and Ryan has time to relax including time at the cottage. They had a scary time when a weather system looked like a tornado. All ended well.

Ed Thompson – happy that RYLA went very well. As treasurer, he now needs to sort out the finances.

Sarge – there were no fines.

50/50 Draw – Anya drew a ticket belonging to Lyle Miller who drew the lucky blue marble. A new round will begin with the next meeting

Next week – there won’t be a meeting at Breezy Bend on the 29th (fellowship night) and Labour Day, Sept. 5. The next Club meeting at Breezy Bend is on September 12. Our guest speaker will be Brock Edwards-PhD candidate, Dept. of Environment, University of Manitoba. Title: Chasing Volcanic Clouds in Iceland.
