Birthdays & Anniversaries
Our guest speaker, Ron Brown explained his Happy Buck. Tonight is his 41st wedding anniversary with his wife Susan. She was out at the lake and was expected to stay there. Ron had accepted to be our speaker for the evening. Susan called on short notice and suggested that they go out for dinner to celebrate the 41st anniversary of their marriage. Ron kept his promise to us and brought Susan with him to Rotary. We are honored by this and all wished them a ‘Happy Anniversary’ and sang a heartfelt round for them.
Happy Bucks
Ed Gramiak was pleased to put a H.B. into the pot on behalf of the absent President Bob. This was to recognize the Roughrider win. President Bob wasn’t here, so someone had to do it!
Acting Sarg Darvin Jasper had a great night out seeing Mamma Mia at Rainbow Stage. Pres Bob was there as well, nice to have crossed paths with him at such a great production.
Brian Campbell also enjoyed a night out at Rainbow Stage taking in Mamma Mia. Fantastic evening of entertainment.
P.E. Mandy Kwasnica was happy to have been the tour guide for friends/cousin of her husband, while they traveled the Banff, Jasper area. Saw a bear and ran from the same bear. Tried for a great picture but it turned out to be a great story instead!
Ed Toews was happy to announce that his son, Brian will be having a child in March, making Ed a grandfather!
Dave Morris was joyful to advised that he and Nancy were cleaning out the garage and found 300 beer cans/bottles. This equates to $30 for Polio+. The slogan ‘Drink for Polio’ seems to be catching on.
Elaine Thompson was happy to have had the opportunity to spend time with 3 grandchildren at the Morden Corn and Apple Festival.
Ed Thompson was pleased to have just had his best golf game ever!

Susan Brown was asked to pull the potential winning ticket from the pot. # 056 was pulled. This just happened to match the stub held by her husband, Ron Brown. His attempt at pulling the Blue marble was not successful tonight.
