David Soper once heard that the "best job in Rotary is Past District Governor" and figures that means the second best is Past President. He feels that he was a "gullible young man" when he accepted the invitation from Peter to embark on the journey to club president after just 6 months of membership. Despite this, he found that one thing our club has is great support from members. He reflected that he wished he had more time to meet the goals that he had set for the year and now can focus more on one of these as he takes over as membership chair. He started with a district presentation on the idea of membership subcommittees: Attraction, Engagement and New Club Development. These are interconnected gears in the Rotary membership engine.

LeeAnn thanked David for his leadership this past year as she steps into the role of Club President. She agrees that she has been "struck with awe by the contributions" of members and their family in club activities and that job one is to build membership.
