Assiniboine Forest - Jack Wilson, Chair, Forest Committee read an email delivered to the Club:
I want to thank you for the wonderful upgrades to the Assiniboine Forest. My adult daughter uses a power wheelchair and the forest is our happy place. We carefully select our routes because not all are accessible. However, there was one particular chip trail that we had long wished was done in crushed limestone. It links two different trails, enabling a longer route. We were there last week and it had been done and it was perfect! We are hoping to be able to keep going during the winter months if the ploughing allows. Thanks again to all involved.
Those in attendance joined in a round of applause for this worthy recognition.
