The Manitoba Camping Association & Sunshine Fund presenters:
Kim Scherger is the Executive Director of the Manitoba Camping Association for the last 8 years. She has a profound dedication to camp and has spent the majority of her career immersed in it. She started volunteering at camp and soon after was employed at camp in various roles. She then served as Executive Director at Luther Village Camp in NW Ontario for 25 years until moving to the Manitoba Camping Association in February 2017. Kim enjoys many outdoor pursuits like cycling, hiking, paddling on a calm lake and ending a summer day around a campfire.
Dana Moroz is the Sunshine Fund Program Manager at the Manitoba Camping Association for the last 9 years. She manages all aspects of the Sunshine Fund application process for the underserved Manitoba children who apply for camp subsidy, as well as the majority of the grant writing. She has worked in the charitable sector for most of her career and appreciates the donor commitment to the Sunshine Fund.
