Club Sponsors Projects Around the World

The Rotary Club of Winnipeg-Charleswood has had a long tradition of getting involved in international projects.  Past projects have included supplies for AIDS orphans and basic water and hygienic facilities at schools in South Africa, desks and septic systems in India and Eyeglasses for central America.

Bob Eilers, Chair of the International Services Committee promotes and supports international programs such as Polio Plus, Shelter Box, District 5550 Ripple Effect, 1000 Survival Gardens and Stove Team International (which saw the club purchased 5 stoves this past Rotary year). See the links on the left menu list or contact Bob at eilersrg@netscape.net for information on the latest international projects
