Courtney Clarke spoke to the Rotary Club of Airdrie at the regular Tuesday lunch meeting about all her positive experiences as a Rotary Exchange student in Zambia in Africa. She not only loved the cultural shock out of her natural shyness to a vibrant ambassador, but got involved with all the Rotary projects that her host club undertook. The one project’s impact really left an impression on her was a water project, freeing the village girls and women’s time up for other more productive activities than just fetching water. Courtney and her partner, Chris, are now resident in Airdrie, and with her deep rooted community service drive, they’re here to make a difference. Welcome to Airdrie!
