No More Mat-Su Media Blitz

Are you looking for an event where you can do some good, spread a worthwhile message AND enjoy the company of your fellow Rotarians?  Look no further than the "No More Mat-Su Media Blitz."

On Thursday, December 7^th we will be visiting local coffee shops, bars, restaurants, etc. to ask that these establishments join us in saying “NO MORE.”  We will be distributing posters, leaflets, resource cards and information.  The committee feels that we still need to make the community aware of the problem of DV and SA in the Valley and that we want to employ the help of local businesses to do this.  We will be asking them to hang up posters and have resource cards available.  We want to ask the coffee stands to to distribute a leaflet or card with every order, and ask bars to use coasters and/or have information displayed in the bathrooms.  

 

Here is how it works (Oh, and there is a possibility of a prize at the end!):

 

When: Thursday December 7 at 5:30 pm

Where: Meet at the Bear Paw parking lot

What: The NMMS committee will be giving you all the material you need to hit the road and pass out information.  You have about 1 hour to pass out information.  Meet back at the Bear Paw at 7pm for drinks with your fellow community volunteers (aka Sunrise Rotarians).

Prize: We hope to have NMMS t-shirts for every volunteer.  Every time someone agrees to display the NMMS material, they sign your shirt.  Person with the most signatures when we meet at 7pm wins a prize.

 

Remember: NMMS is a club-wide event, so please join us on 12/7.
