District Conference May 7-10th
DISTRICT CONFERENCE INVITATION
District 5010 Conference is just around the corner! The serenely beautiful location of the Girdwood Alyeska Resort will be the location for this year’s District Conference. For those of you who want to know more about the nuts and bolts of how our Rotary Clubs work, the District Assembly will be held on May 7th. District Conference will be May 8th -10th. The District Conference and District Assembly are open to all Rotarians.
District Conference and Assembly are held each year in the spring. The Assembly is a training day where courses are taught on Foundation, Membership, Duties of the Club Secretary, Duties of the Treasurer, and etc. It is day where a lot of learning takes place!
District Conference has many areas of focus- here are a few of the things you may experience while there: Learning about and honoring some of our District’s Club accomplishments, Learning about International needs and successes, Hearing from our National Rotary Leaders, Seeing the entire district’s Inbound Youth Exchange program members and feeling their optimism and energy, Feeling the Rotary Spirit among the largest gathering of Rotarians Alaska! Believe me, all who attend District Conference come away with a sense of pride for the global effect we Rotarians have.

Our Club will once again be offering first time attendees a stipend to help with the costs of attending. The stipend amount will be determined after we know how many Rotarians would like to take advantage of this offer!
