Please join Del Mar/Solana Beach Rotary Club for our very special ROTARIANS AT WORK DAY on Saturday, April 30 from 8:00-2:00 PM at the San Elijo Lagoon, to participate in seeding, weeding, touring, learning and enjoying one of our greatest natural treasures through the NATURE COLLECTIVE.

You will need sun and garden-gear (Nature Collective has some also), be able to walk approximately 1/4 mile and have one of the great opportunities to enjoy service and the beautiful outdoors with our fellow Rotarians and a visit from our District Governor, Dan Gensler.

If you are interested, you can also choose to have lunch brought in from Goodonya, one of the favorite local all-organic restaurants.  Please go to:https://goodonyaorganic.com/pages/goodonya-

to select your order.  They have amazing wraps, sandwiches and smoothies (don't recommend on a hot day). We will place the order that morning, and payment can be made to Diana Shimkus prior to or following the event by cash, check or Venmo.  The meal will be picked up and delivered to our lunch location at San Dieguito Park.  You can also choose to bring your own bag-lunch along instead.

What a beautiful day and a beautiful way to be together stewarding our land and growing good will, community, service and friendship together!!

Rotarians At Work Day (RAW) happens the last Saturday in April each year.  Started in 2006 as a joint effort between two Rotary Districts (one in the United States and one in Mexico), Rotarians at Work Day continues to grow.

Each year, Clubs around the world identify a hands-on project that all members can participate in to help their local community. The day is a great way to revitalize your Club, bring in new members and generate publicity for Rotary.
