Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and moved to Victoria, Texas in 1993

  • Graduated from Louisiana State University with a BS degree in Industrial Technology

  • Married to Tracy Rivet since 1985- and have 32 year old twins- son Wade lives in Dumas and daughter Ashtyn Hooper, her husband Charles and their daughter Ella Grace (Our first and only grandchild) live in Houston. Tracy teaches 1st Grade at Dudley Elementary in Victoria ISD.

  • Director of Special Projects- Formosa Plastics Corporation. With Formosa since 1985

  • 2012-13 President of the Port Lavaca Noon Day Rotary Club -Currently serving as Club Secretary

  • Member of the Victoria College Education Foundation Board (Secretary)

  • Member of the University of Houston-Victoria President’s Regional Advisory Board (Chair)

Ginny is the CEO of Mid-Coast Family Services. She is a certified Drug Prevention Specialist and is passionate regarding her agency’s work to prevent and end family violence, homelessness, sexual assault, and substance abuse. She is a product of the Victoria Independent School District, Victoria College and University of Houston-Victoria.
