For members who were unable to attend last week's meeting, and have not heard, our club has chosen two new "major projects" to support and fund over the next 4-5 years.

The first project is our partnership with St. Joseph School and "Food for the Poor" to build 4 houses over the next 4 years in Amatitlan, Guatemala.  Each home will cost $7,600 to produce for a total 4 year commitment of $30,400.

The second project is the Guatemalan literacy project. Our club will contribute $8,000 each year for the next 5 years for a total commitment of $40,000.

Thank you to Rob Buehler for his leadership on this very important club commitment and thank you to all of you who supported the selection process with your presentations,  participation, and VOTES!  We are pleased to announce that 64% of membership voted to support these 2 projects which demonstrates the club support for these important initiatives.

Now it's time to "get busy" and go make those fund raisers successful!
