Update on our Insurance.
I have received the FINAL WORD on the Comprehensive Insurance on our ‘ on the road’ assets involved in an accident or damage incident.
* Excess Standard $500 if involved in a Rotary Project, whether Applecross or another Rotary Club. Similar if driven by a Rotary member for private use. Ute, trailer or BBQ
* If a trailer is involved but not towed by our Ute, then the towing vehicle insurance is responsible for the damage. Essential that the towing vehicle has confirmed Comprehensive insurance.
* If the Ute is loaned out to a NON ROTARY Member, then the excess is $1,000.
* In the event of a THEFT Incident, then the excess is an additional $500
We will ensure that these details are prominently displayed in the Ute, in particular, and highlighted in our ‘use of vehicle’ sign off agreement to be completed prior to any non AxR project arrangements.
