Tim was a foundation member of Perth-based Save African Rhino Foundation when it was formed 32 years ago. SARF has raised over $11m since then for equipment to interrupt the poaching of white and black rhinos, particularly in Zimbabwe.Tim is a paramedic, and a qualified instructor in CPR, and each time he visits Zimbabwe with SARF he also trains locals in CPR; 513 last year alone. He also distributes medical supplies that have been discarded in Perth, often because of they are beyond their use by date. Tim has tried very hard but still cannot understand how a sterilised bandage can have a use by date.
After the formal conclusion of the meeting, Tim demonstrated the latest recommended CPR routine and the use of the defibrillator.
