"Abraham Lincoln's Boots"

Right in downtown Sebastopol is an amazing little shop!  The owner is Michael Anthony and in his shop he creates custom made boots.

He prefers using French and German calf leather, but he will also use ostrich, alligator, deer, emu, mule, snake or lizard skins!  He can make a pair of boots from any hide that is not an endangered species.  Michael takes eight to ten measurements on each foot and can guarantee a perfect fit!  Then begin the 372 steps to making a pair of custom Western boots!  Michael Anthony sells his boots from $2,000 to $7,500 depending on his customer's choices.

But today he is going to tell us how he was contacted by the Ford's Theater and the United States National Park Service to examine Abraham Lincoln's boots!  He was featured in the Press Democrat and will personally share his story and the images of that adventure with us today!
