It's Membership Night!
Join us for a casual, relaxed and informative experience. Raise a glass and hear first-hand from our members how membership in Rotary International and the Uptown Club inspires them to engage and give back to our local and global communities.
Learn about Rotary service and its impact from our guest speaker, Grace Quartey, CPA. Grace will share stories about local Rotary efforts in her family's hometown of Apam, Ghana. She will talk about projects our club and others have helped to support, and how they were able to charter a new Rotary club in the village. In 2003, Grace and her husband Seth started Building Solid Foundations in York to provide an ongoing focus and support for the basic building blocks of economic development in Apam.
Please note: To access our upstairs meeting space, enter Rockfish Public House from George Street and take the stairs to your right, the elevator, or the stairs at the end of the bar. Convenient, covered access is also available from the 3rd level of the Philadelphia Street parking garage. Plan to arrive early enough to secure your beverage and order appetizers at the bar on the main level of the restaurant.
