Fessahaye Mebrahtu, Director of Black Catholic & Ethnic Ministries, Archdiocese Of Milwaukee
Dialogue will be serving within ethnic diversities in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Emphasis will be about religious diversity, mutual respect and coexistence in the context of current religious intolerance in US and beyond. This will be an interactive and engaging program.
Fessahaye was born and raised in Eritrea and has resided in the USA since 1983. Currently working as the Director of Black Catholic and Ethnic Ministries (resource person for African/African American, Asian and Native American Catholics) in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, WI. He has previously served as a Chaplain for Wisconsin Department of Corrections – Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution. Career positions include: Executive Director of Pan-African Community Association, (PACA); a grassroots umbrella organization that brings the African ethnic/national communities together in the Milwaukee, WI; Youth Ministry and Faith Formation All Saints Catholic Church, Milwaukee, WI; Lay Pastoral Associate, Kidande-Mehret Ge’ez Rite Catholic Parish, Washington, DC.
